AFCAT Recruitment 2023

AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Admission Test. It is a national level entrance exam conducted by the Indian Air Force for the selection of officers in Flying Branch and Ground Duties (Technical and Non-Technical) in the Indian Air Force.

The AFCAT exam is conducted twice a year, in the months of February and August, and consists of multiple-choice questions covering topics such as General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, and Military Aptitude Test.

Candidates who qualify for the AFCAT written exam are called for further rounds of selection, which include the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) interview, Medical Examination, and document verification.

Successful candidates are offered training at the Air Force Academy, Dundigal. Upon completion of the training, they are commissioned as officers in the Indian Air Force.

AFCAT का मतलब एयर फ़ोर्स कॉमन एडमिशन टेस्ट है। यह भारतीय वायु सेना में फ्लाइंग ब्रांच और ग्राउंड ड्यूटी (तकनीकी और गैर-तकनीकी) में अधिकारियों के चयन के लिए भारतीय वायु सेना द्वारा आयोजित एक राष्ट्रीय स्तर की प्रवेश परीक्षा है।

एएफसीएटी परीक्षा फरवरी और अगस्त के महीनों में साल में दो बार आयोजित की जाती है, और इसमें सामान्य जागरूकता, अंग्रेजी में वर्बल एबिलिटी, न्यूमेरिकल एबिलिटी, रीजनिंग और मिलिट्री एप्टीट्यूड टेस्ट जैसे विषयों को कवर करने वाले बहुविकल्पीय प्रश्न होते हैं।

एएफसीएटी लिखित परीक्षा के लिए अर्हता प्राप्त करने वाले उम्मीदवारों को चयन के अगले दौर के लिए बुलाया जाता है, जिसमें वायु सेना चयन बोर्ड (एएफएसबी) साक्षात्कार, चिकित्सा परीक्षा और दस्तावेज सत्यापन शामिल है।

सफल उम्मीदवारों को वायु सेना अकादमी, डंडीगल में प्रशिक्षण दिया जाता है। प्रशिक्षण पूरा होने पर, उन्हें भारतीय वायु सेना में अधिकारियों के रूप में नियुक्त किया जाता है।
