The Gunsmith system has been fine, but it can be overwhelming with all the attachments and stats. The Pick 10 system from Black Ops 2 was simple, balanced, and let you customize your class without worrying about a million weapon tuning options.

With Pick 10, you had to make real choices—do you want an extra perk, or do you want a secondary weapon? It made loadouts feel more personal. Modern games just let you equip everything with minimal trade-offs.
