वह भारतीय नागरिक जो साधारणतः भारत के बाहर निवास करता है और जिसके पास भारतीय पासपोर्ट है। वह अप्रवासी भारतीय कहलाता है।

An Indian citizen who is ordinarily resident outside India and holds an Indian passport. He is called a non-resident Indian.
